Major Home Renovation in Needham, MA

The homeowners found a classic New England colonial style home they loved in this suburb of Greater Boston. However, they wanted to make it their own dream home with a major renovation, which involved major reworking of the original floor plan on both the main floor and second floor.

Kitchen Views worked with the homeowners and their contractor as they reconstructed the first floor with a welcoming entrance area leading to the completely new kitchen layout with views of the lovely backyard.

The new first floor layout flows beautifully from the front entrance with beautiful herringbone tile floor and so much cabinetry for containing clutter that it doesn't feel like a typical mudroom. A wide opening between the mudroom and the kitchen makes it easy to see who is coming and going.

On the second floor, both the family bathroom and the main bathroom have beautiful double vanities. Plus there is lots more cabinetry in the laundry room plus a countertop for folding clothes and a small sink. The black and white flower patterned tile floor is both stylish and timeless.
