The back of the island has shallow cabinets tucked into the seating area for needed storage. The end cabinets on the island are for each child, so that they have a place to put their belongings for school, as well as arts and crafts supplies.

This kitchen features a small appliance storage cabinet, which conceals the toaster, and also features a power outlet within it.
